Stefan Ouma participates in the Making Africa Urban Conference (University College London, UCL)

The Making Africa Urban Project coordinated by Professor Jennifer Robinson (UCL) investigates how the future of African cities is being shaped by transnational processes based on sovereign, developmental and private investment in large-scale urban developments in Accra (Ghana), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Lilongwe (Malawi). Stefan Ouma presents a paper on “Centering Acccumulation in the Study of African Cities” and shares the FINAL ROUNDTABLE PLENARY together with Professor Garth Myers (Trinity College, Hartford) and Professor Wilbard Kombe (Ardhi University, Dar es Salaam).
