“Africa: Why Economists get it (Really) Wrong”: Reflections on a Debate between Franklin Obeng-Odoom and Morten Jerven
Stefan Ouma and Abena D. Oduro (University of Ghana) have co-authored some reflections on an online debate that took place in December between prominent Ghanaian political economist Franklin-Obeng-Odoom (University of Helsinki) and Economic Historian Morten Jerven, who was a guest professor of African Economic History at the University of Bayreuth in the winter term 21-22. The debate was part of a series of events organized at the University of Bayreuth to engage with the work of African and African diasporan political economists.
